Join the Ministry of Justice as a Judges' Clerk to support District Court Judges with legal research and insights.
Your role
Key responsibilities are as follows:
- Provide high-quality legal research and support to District Court Judges in the Southern region.
- Ensure efficient and accurate legal assistance on various topics.
- Work independently to meet deadlines and manage workloads.
About you
Ideal candidates will possess:
- An LLB with a strong academic record.
- Excellent written communication and research skills.
- Good computer literacy and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Compensation & benefits
The present starting salary of judges' clerks on appointment at all levels is $67,845 pa, progressing in six-monthly increments to $82,135 per annum for the last six months of their contract. Enjoy 4 weeks of holiday leave and access to inclusive networks.
