They are looking for a talented individual to come join their District Court as a Judges' Clerk based in Palmerston North District Court. The successful applicant must be available for an immediate start, allowing for a notice period. Judges Clerk is a 2-3 year fixed term internship for motivated, enthusiastic law professionals to develop an intricate and first-hand view of the judicial system. You will provide high-quality research and directly support the District Court Judges and Community Magistrates.
If you have an LLB with a strong academic record, excellent written communication and research skills and good computer literacy this could be the opportunity for you. You will provide high-quality research to residents and visiting District Court Judges in the Lower North region. You will fulfil that responsibility by supplying efficient and accurate legal support on any topic required.
