What does the job look like?

Linfox’s Intermodal business unit currently has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and highly efficient Truck Offsider to join their team, located in Townsville QLD. As a part of this role, you will be required to assist with local deliveries within the Townsville region, operating trolleys, you will manually hand unload liquor, grocery and white goods products and distribute them to retail stores and franchises. We currently have a casual position available, working Monday to Friday, starting from roughly 6:00 AM and finishing at roughly 2:00 PM + overtime when necessary. 

Key areas:

  • Participating and committing to Safety Standards and COR requirements at all times.
  • Hand unload products manually, involving repetitive tasks.
  • Utilise a manual hand trolley.
  • Interacting with customers.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all relevant policies and procedures, and guidelines.
