About the role

Working across multiple sites, which may include a combination of Hamilton Gardens, Hamilton Zoo, ArtsPost, i-Site, Waikato Museum, Libraries and Hamilton Pools you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing information about our services, processing admissions, retail purchases and bookings, and responding to customer enquiries.

We have multiple positions for casual weekend staff who will have the ability and flexibility to work at any one of our sites as demand dictates.

  • A desire to learn and commitment to providing the best possible experience for our visitors, customers, and community members.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to relate successfully and easily to customers from diverse cultures and backgrounds.

Pros

  • Constantly changing environment and some of the people I have met.

  • Extremely supportive environment Fun work place culture Friendly sta๏ฌ€.

  • Good people and support from the organization

  • Probably the health insurance; I haven't had to use it yet, but it's nice to know it's there if I need it.

  • Fexibility/freedom given

Cons

    • A lot of uncertainty around job security, not a very creative environment.
