Our CEO started here as a grad. So did our Executive of Product Development. When we say career growth at Fisher & Paykel is tangible, we really mean it. Joining our Graduate programme you will work hands-on in project teams, innovating and influencing real product design. Deep-diving into Product Development offers real-time learning from some of the best in industry, and we’re stoked to have you there – grads bring fresh perspective that means we learn from you, too. Some of our best ideas have come from grads, and some of their best career stories have come from us.

Not to mention, we’ve just been named as the Top Graduate Employer for R&D/Manufacturing in 2023!

What’s on offer for 2024…

We have six (6) opportunities in Auckland commencing mid-January 2024 for naturally curious, driven graduates with the initiative and desire to apply learning and skills to the design of luxury premium products.

We have global scale engineering and manufacturing systems that create unique learning opportunities from design concept through to production. Combined with strong leadership, mentoring and diverse hands-on work, you’ll build a strong core skills base for wherever you take your career.

In our Design Centres we offer stimulating work and positive learning environments.  Beyond loving the day-to-day work, grads enjoy our collaborative working style and continuous learning experience.

There are heaps of opportunities, and there’s a real openness here to new ways, ideas and options – different perspectives are valued; it’s collaborative and outcome oriented. Everyone works together, and the culture is one of really valuing sustainability – everybody is really passionate and driven to improve.”

In Auckland, you’ll work as part of the teams designing Refrigeration and Laundry products.   We also have two (2) specific opportunities for graduates with a specific interest in product safety & compliance, and reliability engineering.

  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Curiosity and initiative with a drive to ongoing development
  • An ability to contribute positively and professionally in a team environment.

To join us as a graduate you’ll need to be on target to complete your studies towards a relevant Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degree (in Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering) or have graduated within the last two years.
