Join our Graduate Program as a Graduate Consultant within our Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Advisory team, from February 2026!

Our CFO Advisory team supports a broad range of organisations, large corporates, listed entities and governments. We work closely with Boards, executives, management and in particular the CEOs and CFOs in the to improve and transformation their finance function and financial management practices. 

The CFO Advisory team collaborates with a range of other BDO teams and services including the IFRS and Corporate Reporting, Consulting, Risk Advisory and Projects and Infrastructure teams. This gives you the opportunity to be involved in a variety of work and projects, including exciting transformation projects where you could be helping to establish a new entity responsible for a major infrastructure project, supporting an organisation’s long-term financial sustainability plans, transitioning to new finance systems, completing and being involved in the preparation and audit of large and international clients general purpose financial statements. 

What you’ll do: 

As a CFO Advisory Graduate at BDO, you can expect to: 

  • Assist with finance function advisory services and transformation projects 
  • Prepare general purpose financial statements and support the audit procedures of our clients 
  • Assist with finance system selection & change 
  • Prepare and/or develop financial, management and project reports 
  • From time to time, acting in an insourced role as part of a client’s finance team.

What you’ll offer:

You will be in your final year, or have recently completed an Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering or relevant or postgraduate degree

Your ability to commence full-time in February 2026.
