Your role

Key responsibilities as follows:  

  • Deliver core actuarial services to ACC and external stakeholders.  
  • Assess the effectiveness of injury prevention programs.  
  • Contribute to policy and scheme design discussions.  
  • Engage in project work and strategic initiatives.  
  • Provide insights and advice for sound Scheme management.  
  • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.

About you

The ideal candidate will:  

  • Have or be near completing a tertiary qualification in actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, or finance.  
  • Possess exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in mathematical and statistical models.  
  • Demonstrate excellent relationship management and communication skills.  
  • Be innovative and focused on process improvement.  
  • Thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.  
  • Understand the ACC Scheme and its support for injured individuals in New Zealand.  
  • Be an active member or aspiring member of the NZ Society of Actuaries.

Compensation & benefits

The salary range is NZD 67,422 - NZD 75,000, depending on skills and experience, with 9% superannuation. ACC values diversity and offers flexible working options and employee networks for support.
